Concentration system
Brief introduction
Concentration is a method to reduce the volume of sludge. In the sludge treatment process, gravity concentration is generally used as a pretreatment for sludge dewatering operation.Therefore, the sludge concentration in the concentration tank is actually similar to the sedimentation process of the sedimentation tank. The pool size of the concentration tank is small, often in the range of 6-20 meters, so the thickener mostly adopts the central transmission form.
Our company is one of the largest and earliest manufacturers of transmission concentrating machines in domestic production centers. The central transmission concentrator produced has many forms and wide application range. In the production process of more than ten years, the product structure and performance has been improved continuously, which is welcomed by the majority of users.
Based on user requirements, we can design and manufacture various peripheral drive concentrators for users, and design and manufacture center drive concentrators for sloping plate concentrating pools.
Application
The NZS Series Concentrator is a centrally driven continuous or batch operated concentration and clarification unit. It is mainly used in water treatment systems such as blast furnaces, continuous casting, hot rolling and water plants in the metallurgical industry or for the concentration or purification of all solid slurry in coal, chemical, building materials and water sources, sewage treatment and other industries. It can also be used to concentrate and dehydrate fine and tailings pulp in wet dressing.
The working principle of NZS series concentrator
The slurry or sewage containing the fine-grained objects is fed into the central part of the concentration tank through the feed rack or sludge tube. The slurry flows slowly towards the surrounding area in a uniform and radial manner, and the solid particles in the slurry or sewage in warm swimming settle down by self-weight or flocculation. At first, due to the low concentration, the particles basically settled freely, the sinking speed is faster, and then sinks into the concentrated belt, and the sinking speed is slower. Finally, it sinks to the lowermost sediment zone, which is also a compression zone with a higher concentration, and water is continuously precipitated from the gap of the settled particles. When the middle rabble blade is continuously rotated, the dents push the sediment along the tapered slope of the bottom of the pool to the center of the bottom of the pool, and finally discharge from the discharge gate at the bottom. When the middle rabble blade pushes the sediment, it is also a compression process of scraping the sediment. This also greatly enhances the water splitting action, so that the sediment discharged from the discharge gate is a concentrated slurry or sludge. The upper part of the pool is the clarifying part, and the clarified water is discharged from the overflow weir at the side of the pool, thus constituting the whole process of the thickener work.
Structure and characteristics of main components of NZS series concentration system
NZS series Concentration system consists of five parts: concentration basin, specially designed water bridge with large torque, main transmission mechanism, lifting mechanism and slag rake.
1. Main transmission mechanism
The main drive mechanism is the system of driving rake frame rotation. It is mainly composed of electric motor, cycloidal pinwheel reducer and main worm wheel pair drive. In order to ensure the need to lift the truss during operation, the worm wheel and the vertical shaft are connected by splines. In the case of normal operation, the vertical axis can freely move up and down in the axial direction.
2.Lifting mechanism and torque measuring switch protection device
In operation, if the thickener is overloaded, the lifting mechanism can lift the slag rake through a series of vertical shafts to ensure the safe operation of the machine. Its main structure consists of two parts: specially designed and manufactured torque measuring switch, alarm, control device and actuator. For the NZS series concentrator, the overload device controls the motor movement by passing the worm string shaft so that the torque measuring switch is in different states. When the load increases by more than 50 - 60% of the rated torque, the tweezers can be automatically raised or alarmed. When the load resumes normal, the dice can be automatically lowered to the working position, which realizes automatic torque tracking. If the load continues to increase after the overload is lifted and reaches 70-80% of the rated torque, the thickener will automatically stop and will be allowed to restart after being handled by operators.Sometimes in the event of a fault, the torque increases quickly and reaches 100% of the rated torque, the safety pin will break. In this way, it effectively protects the safety of the equipment. Since NZS realizes single machine automation, it creates convenient conditions for centralized control of dehydration operation.
3. The NZS-type concentration pool is usually composed of two materials: concrete pool for nzs-9 type and above, steel plate pool for nzs-6 type and below. Concrete structures may also be used below nzs-6 type tanks, but this is to be noted when ordering.
